Bushy Brows Bandit Arrested

On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the bank robbery suspect dubbed the Bushy Brows Bandit was arrested by members of the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, Douglas County Regional SWAT Team, and Parker Police Department. The arrest came after extensive investigation and was without incident.

The FBI is thankful to its partners in Douglas County, El Paso County, and Jefferson County for their contributions in this matter. The strong partnerships between the FBI and local law enforcement are important and demonstrate how investigations can be brought to a successful outcome.

Bank robbery is punishable up to a 20-year prison sentence for each offense regardless if a weapon was used in the commission of the crime. That sentence increases however if a dangerous weapon is used. The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies and works closely with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to prosecute those charged with the crime.

If anyone has any information on a bank robbery, please call the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force at 303-629-7171; or you may remain anonymous by calling CRIMESTOPPERS at 720-913-STOP (7867).
