Bank Robbery of TCF Bank on March 1, 2017

The Denver Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating the following bank robbery:

TCF Bank
2084 South Broadway Street
Denver, Colorado
March 1, 2017, 4:10 p.m.

The suspect is described as an Asian or Hispanic male, about 25 years of age, approximately 5’7 to 5’9 in height, weighing approximately 180 to 200 lbs., with dark skin, and possibly bearing a “cursive writing tattoo” over one eyebrow and a “teddy bear tattoo” on the top of his right hand. The suspect was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the robbery.

The suspect threatened bank employees with use of a weapon, received money, exited the bank, and fled in an unknown vehicle.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
