Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force Are Investigating a Bank Robbery

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating a bank robbery.

September 13, 2017, 11 a.m.

The suspect is described as a black female, 20—25 years of age, 5' to 5'8" tall, with a slender build. She was wearing a red long sleeve sweater, black pants, a wig, and sunglasses and was armed with a handgun.

Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.

The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
