FBI Seeks Public’s Assistance in Armed, Takeover-Style Bank Robbery

The Dallas FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying four subjects in an armed, takeover-style bank robbery at the Neighborhood Credit Union located at 13651 Monfort Drive in Dallas on May 20, 2016. North Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the conviction of these individuals.

At approximately 3:45 P.M., on May 20, 2016, four subjects entered the credit union and ordered everyone to get down on the ground. At least three subjects were armed with handguns.

The subjects proceeded to take property from employees and customers. One subject got angry and struck a teller in the back of the head with his handgun, causing a laceration. The subjects then fled with no cash from the credit union.

The subjects are described as black males ranging from 18 to 20 years old, weighing 140 to 160 pounds, and measuring 5’8” to 5’10” tall. One subject wore a rubber mask that appeared like an elderly white man with gray hair, while the other three subjects wore bandanas or other face coverings. They also wore gloves, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts or hooded sweatshirts. Several of them carried some type of bag or backpack.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Dallas FBI at 972-559-5000 or the North Texas Crime Stoppers at 1-877-373-TIPS (8477). For additional information, please visit https://bankrobbers.fbi.gov/robbers-container/2016-06-16.5236956070.
