DALLAS, TX—FBI Dallas is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown bank robber responsible for a November 10, 2022, bank robbery in Denton, Texas. The Wells Fargo Bank of Denton is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

The robbery occurred at 601 West University Drive in Denton. A male subject parked a red Dodge Challenger directly in front of the bank, walked inside, and waited in the teller line. The subject was dressed in black, including gloves. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. He wore goggles or a paintball-style mask. He was approached by a teller; he then instructed the teller to take him to the bank’s vault where he took money and placed it into a black duffel bag. He exited the bank, got back into his vehicle, and departed the parking lot at a high rate of speed.

The unknown robber is described as male who is approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a slender build. He had a black semi-automatic handgun.

This individual should be considered armed and dangerous.
