FBI Seeks Assistance to Identify Unknown Child Predator

The FBI is seeking assistance in identifying an unknown child predator captured in surveillance photos and video.

The unknown child predator is believed to be the person that abducted a 6-year-old from inside her home in Cleveland on May 21, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. This child predator entered the home, with adults sleeping, and took the 6-year-old for 17 hours. He dropped her off approximately two miles from her home, not unharmed.

Forensic evidence has linked this same man to an unsolved attempted abduction from February 2016 of a 10-year-old in Elyria, Ohio. The suspect reached through the 10-year-old’s unlocked bedroom window and grabbed her leg. The 10-year-old was able to wiggle away from him and get to her father.

The 6-year-old has told authorities that she rode in the front floorboard of his car for a long time to and from the residence he took her to. While at the residence, the victim states that a man and a woman arrived, cooked chicken for the suspect, and left. She says the suspect told her to hide and keep quiet. Law enforcement believes these two people did not know a 6-year-old had been held and harmed in that bedroom. It is believed these two people possibly saw the suspect's car at the time parked in the driveway; the vehicle is a 2002-2003 Chevy Malibu with a mismatched-colored front driver's-side fender.

Law enforcement needs these two people, or anyone with information on the identity of the suspect or the owner of this vehicle, to contact authorities at (216) 622-6842.
