On Friday, April 28, 2017, Robby’s Voice, a non-profit organization who’s mission is to save lives by raising awareness about drug addiction, will receive the prestigious FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award (DCLA).

Robby’s Voice arms parents, students, and communities with information to identify the warning signs of substance abuse and get access to the resources needed to live a drug free life. Confronting the reality of addiction is painful and confusing and affects the addict, as well as the entire family.

Robby’s Voice has proven to be a valuable collaborator to the Cleveland community, Cleveland Division of the FBI, and numerous agencies in Northern Ohio.

The Director’s Community Leadership Award, presented by the Director of the FBI, James Comey, was formally created in 1990 as a way to honor individuals and organizations for their efforts in combating crime, terrorism, drugs, and violence in America. Robby’s Voice joins the ranks of recent Cleveland recipients: Dr. Tom Collins; Yvonne Pointer; Fred Szabo; Jimmy Malone; the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, and Toledo’s Second Chance organization, both of which partner with the FBI to care for victims of crimes in Northern Ohio.
