High Point Robbery Suspect Arrested in Huntsville, Alabama by U.S. Marshals

This morning at 08:30 a.m., Brian Dennis Kuhles, a 47 year old, White Male, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF). On November 20, 2014, warrants were issued by the High Point Police Department for Kuhles for the crimes of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by Felon. It is alleged that on October 27, 2014, Kuhles committed an armed robbery of the Bank of America located at 115 West Fairfield Road in High Point. Kuhles was reportedly armed with a pistol at the time and took in excess of $4,000 U.S. currency during the robbery.

Detectives with the JFTF obtained reliable information leading them to Kuhles whereabouts in Huntsville, AL. Members of the U.S. Marshals Service GCRFTF quickly became involved in the case on December 1, 2014 and began conducting surveillance at an area motel. This morning, the GCRFTF observed Kuhles getting into a parked vehicle in the motel parking lot. Kuhles was arrested without incident and transported to the Madison County Metro Jail pending his extradition back to North Carolina.
