FBI Charlotte Offering $25,000 Reward in Lincolnton Crisis Pregnancy Arson Investigation
The FBI; the Lincolnton Police Department; and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the individual who threw a Molotov cocktail at the Crisis Pregnancy Center on June 25, 2022.
As part of a national effort to bring awareness to a series of attacks and threats targeting reproductive health service facilities across the country, the FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect(s) responsible for this crime.
On June 25, 2022, at approximately 2:20 a.m., the Lincolnton Police Department received a 911 call reporting a fire at 112 Doctors Park, Lincolnton, North Carolina. An individual can be seen on surveillance video throwing a lit Molotov cocktail at the building. The building only received minor damage. The suspect can be seen running away towards the intersection of Country Club Road and Hollow Road.

This criminal act is a violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 844(i), Destruction by Means of a Fire or Explosive, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years in federal prison, and potentially, a violation of Title 18 U.S.C. § 248(a)(3), Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances.
