BUFFALO, N.Y.-Acting U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Camp Street Gang member Tramell McGee, 34, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of cocaine, was sentenced to 36 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Patricia Astorga, who handled the case, stated that the defendant was a member of the Camp Street Gang, which operates in the Camp Street area of the City of Buffalo and is believed to be responsible for the distribution of illegal narcotics including cocaine. Tramell McGee distributed cocaine between November 2015 and March 2016. During the investigation, the defendant sold cocaine to a confidential source working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation on four separate occasions. Each sale included 62 grams of cocaine for $2,500.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Safe Streets Task Force, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Adam S. Cohen.
