ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) David J. LeValley, FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with SAC Stephen D. Anthony, FBI Cleveland Field Office, announces the following arrests today in Douglasville, Georgia.

Kevin Burton, age 41, of Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested by FBI agents at his residence in Douglasville this morning, October 25, 2017, without incident. Also arrested was Brian Nowell, age 44, also of Douglasville. Both have been charged with violation of Title 21 USC 841 and Title 21 USC 846, federal drug trafficking related charges.

Burton and Nowell will appear before a U.S. magistrate judge later this afternoon, October 25, 2017, in the Northern District of Georgia in Atlanta.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations and that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
