Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Branch in Atlanta

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, in conjunction with Chief George Turner, Atlanta Police Department, requests the public’s assistance with regard to the armed bank robbery at the Wells Fargo Bank at 4454 Roswell Road in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Thursday, November 12, 2015, at approximately 10:16 a.m., a lone black male entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at 4454 Roswell Road in Atlanta, Georgia, and, while brandishing a handgun wrapped in his jacket sleeve, announced a robbery.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without incident and was observed departing in a 2000-2005 Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon SUV, red in color.

The robber was described as being a young black male, 5’5’-5’7” in height, slender build, wearing black pants, black sweatshirt, black hat, and a red bandana over his face.
