Reward Offered for Information About Armored Car Robbery

ATLANTA—The FBI is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect(s) who robbed an armored car crew at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1459 Moreland Avenue, Atlanta, Georgia, on March 21, 2019. Loomis Armored US, LLC is offering a reward of up to $30,000 for anyone who provides information to the FBI that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) in the robbery.

A Loomis employee was delivering a substantial amount of U.S. currency to the bank at around 12:48 p.m. when he was ambushed at the front door of the bank by a suspect described as a black male wearing a black skull mask and a black hoodie. The suspect demanded the money and forcefully took it from the employee.

Several people witnessed the robbery but some of them were gone by the time police arrived at the scene. The FBI would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the crime.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations and that all persons are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
