Home Invasion Crew Indicted in Gwinnett County
ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, FBI Atlanta, along with Gwinnett County Police Chief A.A. (Butch) Ayers, announces the following indictments at Gwinnett County, Georgia.
On April 20, 2016, a Gwinnett County Grand Jury indicted Lamon Jackson, age 46, Jarvis Levoyd Tucker, age 45, Jason Jermoine Tucker, age 36, and Darden Bernard Walker, age 28, all from Atlanta, on state charges related to their alleged participation in a September 2011 armed home invasion of a jewelry store owner.
Both Jarvis and Jason Tucker, along with Darden Walker, were previously arrested by FBI agents and Gwinnett County Police Department officers in a separate matter wherein they were alleged to be conspiring to rob a jewelry store owner at his residence.
Following his indictment, Jackson was subsequently arrested by FBI agents and Atlanta Police officers at a residence in the 400 block of Highland Avenue, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia, without incident.
The above defendants could face additional federal charges.
All of the above defendants remain in custody at the Gwinnett County Detention Facility.
The public should be reminded that the above are allegations and that all persons are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
