Female Bank Robber Arrested; Banks Robbed in Marietta, Kennesaw, Sandy Springs, Atlanta, and Tennessee

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge David J. LeValley, FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with Police Chief Erika Shields, Atlanta Police Department, announces the following arrests in an investigation involving the robbery of four banks and the attempted robbery of two others that occurred in the metro Atlanta area and in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

On Thursday, August 11, 2017, the FBI-led Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) Task Force arrested Christian Ware, black female, age 18, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Tremmell Adams, black male, age 30, of Kennesaw, Georgia on Atlanta Police Department warrants charging them with the June 28, 2017 and July 8, 2017 bank robberies that occurred in Atlanta, Georgia. Additional charges are anticipated.

Both Ware and Adams were arrested in the 1800 block of Hazelwood Drive, Marietta, Georgia.

On Friday, June 16, 2017, at approximately 3:25 p.m., a lone black female entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 602 Roswell Street N.E., Marietta, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

On Monday, June 26, 2017, at approximately 4:26 p.m., a lone black female entered the PNC Bank, located at 5640 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia, and, after approaching a teller, presented a demand note and announced a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017, a lone black female entered the Chase Bank, located at 2002 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, Georgia, and presented a demand note announcing a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robbery departed the bank without further incident.

On Thursday, June 29, 2017, at approximately 11:55 a.m., a lone black female with dyed red hair entered the SunTrust Bank, located at 4323 Ringgold Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee, and announced a robbery via a demand note. In spite of the threat contained in the note, the teller did not give the robber money and the robber demanded the note back and departed the bank without incident.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, a lone black female entered the Chase Bank, located at 2350 Cheshire Bridge Road, Atlanta, Georgia, and attempted a bank robbery. No monies were taken and the individual departed the bank without incident.

On Saturday, July 8, 2017, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a lone black female entered the Navy Federal Credit Union, located at 1300 Barrett Parkway, Kennesaw, Georgia, and presented a demand note announcing a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

Both Ware and Adams are being detained at the Fulton County Detention Facility.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations and that all persons are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
