FBI Arrests Father Accused of Murder of Three-Month-Old

Arrested Upon Return to Atlanta Via Delta Flight From Dominican Republic

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge David J. Levalley, FBI Atlanta Field Office, along with Chief A.A. "Butch" Ayers, Gwinnett County Police Department, announces the arrest of Charles Hamilton, age 44, of Atlanta. Hamilton is wanted by Gwinnett County P.D. on several State warrants related to the murder of his three month old daughter, Adriana Hamilton.

Charles Hamilton was arrested by the FBI today, Saturday, September 23, 2017, after he stepped off of a Delta Airlines flight that had just arrived in Atlanta from the Dominican Republic. Earlier in the week, Hamilton’s vehicle had been located at Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson International Airport parking.

Hamilton will be returned to Gwinnett County, Georgia where he will face charges of murder, cruelty to children, and aggravated assault.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations and that all persons are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
