FBI and DeKalb Sheriff Deputies Arrest Illinois Murder Suspect

ATLANTA—Special Agent in Charge David J. LeValley, FBI Atlanta Field Office, and Special Agent in Charge Michael J. Anderson, FBI Chicago Field Office, announce the arrest of a suspect wanted for murder in Riverdale, Illinois.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, FBI agents from the Atlanta Field Office along with the valued assistance from the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, arrested Rynalder Williams, age 23, of Riverdale, Illinois on Redwing Circle in DeKalb County Georgia.

Williams was wanted by the Riverdale Police Department on an outstanding warrant for murder that occurred on July 17, 2017. Riverdale Police requested the assistance of FBI Chicago to locate the suspect. FBI Chicago coordinated with FBI Atlanta to locate and apprehend Williams.

Williams is currently being detained at the DeKalb County Jail in Decatur, Georgia where he will await extradition back to Illinois on the state charge.

The public should be reminded that the above is merely an allegation and that all persons are to be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
