FBI and Atlanta PD Announce Arrests in 2016 Underground Atlanta Homicide

ATLANTA—David J. LeValley, special agent in charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, in conjunction with Erika Shields, chief of police, Atlanta Police Department, announce the following arrest in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Wednesday, August 2, 2017, Kaila Ruff, age 21, of Atlanta, and Deangelo Rosser, age 24, of Atlanta, were arrested without incident in the 2900 block of Springdale Road, Atlanta, Georgia by the FBI-led Atlanta Metro Major Offender (AMMO) Task Force.

Rosser and Ruff were wanted by the Atlanta Police Department on charges of murder related to the November 19, 2016 homicide of Jerron Ramsey, age 34, at Underground Atlanta. Another person was shot during this incident but survived.

The public should be reminded that the above are merely allegations and that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
