Man Wearing Wig Robs Santa Fe Bank

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are looking for a young man who wore a wig when he robbed a bank Tuesday, September 19, 2017.

The suspect is described as a white male about 20 years old, approximately 5'5” to 5'9” tall, with wide shoulders.

He wore a blue hat with a flat bill, aviator sunglasses with dark lenses, a gray or light-blue short wig, a dark hooded jacket with a zipper, and dark pants and dark shoes.

The suspect entered Los Alamos National Bank, 301 Griffin Street in Santa Fe, at approximately 4:57 p.m.

He handed an envelope to a teller and demanded money.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who left the bank and was seen walking north on Griffin Street.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robbery suspect.
