Man Wearing Indiana University Sweatshirt, Cap with Paw Logo, Robs Santa Fe Bank

A man wearing a red Indiana University sweatshirt robbed a Santa Fe bank on Saturday, February 4, 2017.

The robbery at First National Bank, 2021 Cerrillos Road, occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set white male in his 50s, with gray and white hair.

He wore a black baseball cap with a white paw logo, a red hooded Indiana University sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.

Witnesses said the suspect entered the bank, displayed a small handgun, and demanded money from a teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who left the bank and was last seen running toward Osage Avenue.

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are investigating.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
