Man Wearing Albuquerque Dukes Baseball Cap Tries to Rob Albuquerque Bank

A man wearing a black Albuquerque Dukes baseball cap tried to rob a northeast Albuquerque bank on Tuesday (12/27/2016) and fled in a black Chevy Malibu.

The suspect is described as a white male, possibly Hispanic, in his late 20s, and approximately 5'6" to 5'9" tall, with a slender build. He had a short beard. He wore a black baseball cap with a blue Dukes logo, a black sweatshirt, baggy black pants, and eyeglasses.

At approximately 3 p.m., the suspect walked into Wells Fargo, located at 156 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE. He gave a teller a note that demanded money, but the suspect left without any cash. The suspect crossed Juan Tabo Blvd. NE, walked westbound on Linn Avenue NE, and got into the passenger side of a black Chevy Malibu that headed north on Muriel Street NE.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a bank robbery suspect.
