Man in Black Long-Sleeve T-Shirt Robs Albuquerque Bank

A man wearing a black long-sleeve T-shirt robbed an Albuquerque bank Friday, September 15, 2017.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his early 30s, approximately 5'4” tall, with a slender build, short cropped hair, and an unshaven face.

He wore a black long-sleeve T-shirt and blue jeans.

At approximately 10:52 a.m., the suspect entered Bank of the West, located at 500 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue NE.

He presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

The suspect was last seen walking south on Walter Street NE.

Authorities are investigating whether this suspect could be connected to the Sept. 7, 2017 robbery of the same bank.

Anyone with information about either of these robberies is asked to call the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
