A Farmington-area man has been arrested on a federal complaint charging him with the August 17, 2018, robbery of a Farmington bank.

The FBI took Justin Watchman Jr., 26, into custody after he was arrested by the Farmington Police Department with the assistance of the San Juan County Sheriff's Office and the FBI.

Watchman is accused of robbing First Convenience Bank inside the Walmart at 4600 East Main Street.

No further information will be released until after Watchman's initial appearance, which has not been scheduled.

The public is reminded that all defendants are considered innocent unless convicted in a court of law.
