FBI Seeks Scruffy Bandit in Robbery of Northeast Albuquerque Bank

A man wearing a long-sleeved shirt with the words "Just Net" on the front robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank on Friday, August 19, 2016.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'0" tall, with an unshaven appearance.

He wore a dark baseball cap, a dark Nike long-sleeved shirt with the words "Just Net" on the front, and blue jeans. He carried a backpack with light and dark colors.

At approximately 4:38 p.m., the suspect entered the bank located at 2101 Eubank Blvd. NE and demanded money from two tellers.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money, left the bank, and turned south.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction of a bank robber.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
