FBI Offers $1,000 Reward for Suspect in Gallup, New Mexico Bank Robbery

Richard Johns Jr., 46, is wanted for the February 19, 2019, robbery of a Gallup, New Mexico bank.

A federal arrest warrant charges Johns with bank robbery.

Washington Federal, 221 West Aztec Avenue, in Gallup, was robbed at approximately 12:38 p.m.

Johns, who is Native American, has a large tattoo on his forehead that says “Dine,” and another on the front of his neck with the “$” symbol.

Anyone with information on Johns' whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at (505) 889-1300 or Gallup Police Department at (505) 722-2002.

The FBI and Gallup Police Department are investigating.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Johns.

A federal charge is only an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
