FBI, Navajo Nation Look for Sexual Assault Suspect

The FBI and Navajo Nation Division of Public Safety are looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman near Sheep Springs on the Navajo Reservation.

The incident occurred near a picnic area on Navajo Route 134 between the night of April 15 and the early morning of April 16.

The suspect is in his late 30s, approximately 5’9” tall, with the letter “F” tattooed in an Old English font on his neck below his left ear.

He also had a scar on the left side of his chin.

The suspect had a medium build, short haircut, a goatee but no moustache, and a pair of eyebrows that met above the nose.

He wore a yellow beanie, brown leather jacket, a white shirt with a pocket, new blue jeans, and light brown work boots.

He was armed with a black handgun.

The victim said the man told her he was going to Sheep Springs when he left on foot at approximately 4 a.m. on April 16.
