FBI Media Alert: Unknown Man Robs Same Albuquerque Bank
The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery on Friday, January 21, 2022.
At approximately 9:52 a.m., an unknown male entered Bank of the West, 2101 Eubank Boulevard Northeast. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money from the bank. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and headed southbound on foot.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Age: 25 to 30 years old
- Race: Hispanic
- Eyes: Black
- Height: 5'8” to 6'0"
- Clothing: Nike baseball hat, black gaiter mask, black Colombia zip-up sweater, gray gloves, blue jeans, black and white shoes.
This individual is suspected of robbing the same bank on January 11, 2022.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
