FBI Media Alert: Reward Offered for Man Suspected of Robbing Same Albuquerque Bank in Less Than Two Weeks

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery on Monday, February 14, 2022.

At approximately 12:10 p.m., an unknown male entered U.S. Bank, 2300 Louisiana Boulevard NE. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: 20s
  • Build: Thin
  • Height: 5'10”
  • Clothing: Black beanie, gray zip-up hooded jacket, black shirt, black gloves, dark mask, light-colored pants.

This individual is suspected of robbing the same bank on February 4, 2022, and the attempted robbery of First Convenience Bank in Albuquerque on February 2, 2022.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
