FBI Media Alert: FBI, Santa Fe Police Look for Skinny Swoosh Bandit Bank Robber

The FBI and Santa Fe Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Skinny Swoosh Bandit who is responsible for a bank robbery on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.

At approximately 1:30 p.m., an unknown male walked into First National bank, located at 540 W Cordova Road. The suspect verbally demanded money from a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Hispanic
  • Height: Approximately 5'2"
  • Weight: Skinny
  • Hair: Short black hair, with a mustache and short beard.
  • Clothing: Black long-sleeve shirt with a Nike Swoosh symbol on the left chest; dark pants; and tennis shoes.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
