FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward in Northeast Albuquerque Bank Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque, New Mexico, Police Department are looking for an unidentified man who robbed a northeast Albuquerque bank on Friday, November 29, 2019.

The robbery occurred at BBVA Compass Bank at 3500 Candelaria Road NE, at approximately 4:52 p.m.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, approximately 5'6” to 5'7” tall, with short curly hair and an unshaven face.

He wore a blue baseball cap, dark jacket, and light-colored pants.

The suspect entered the bank and presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
