FBI Media Alert: FBI, Grants Police Department Seek 'Black Cap Bandit' Who Robbed Bank
The FBI and Grants Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the “Black Cap Bandit,” who is responsible for a bank robbery on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
At approximately 2:22 p.m., an unknown male entered Wells Fargo, 201 N. 1st Street, in Grants. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left the bank.
Suspect’s Description:
- Sex: Male
- Race: Native American
- Age: Mid-20s
- Height: 5'7” to 5'9”
- Weight: Approximately 160 pounds
- Clothing: The suspect wore a black baseball cap with an unknown white logo on the front, a black sweater, a light-colored surgical mask, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
