FBI Media Alert: Dapper Bandit Wearing Make-Up Robs Albuquerque Bank, Threatens Teller
The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the individual responsible for a bank robbery on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.
At approximately 3:58 p.m., an unknown male entered Bank of America, 1704 NM Highway 528. The suspect presented a note to the teller demanding money and threatened to shoot the employee. No gun was displayed. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left on foot heading east.
- Sex: Male
- Race: Hispanic
- Height: 5'3” to 5'5”
- Age: 30 to 40
- Build: Heavy
- Clothing: Tan hat, tan mask, eyeglasses, blue button-up shirt, black dress pants, dark shoes.
- Other: Wore a very light color foundation (make up) on his face.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.
