FBI Media Alert: Albuquerque Man Charged with Robbing Two Credit Unions

The FBI has charged James Patrick Verdream with robbing two Albuquerque credit unions in March.

The U.S. Marshals Service, which had been searching for Verdream on a federal probation violation charge, arrested him in Albuquerque on Wednesday.

Verdream, 51, of Albuquerque, is scheduled to have an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on March 19, 2018.

Verdream is charged with robbing Rio Grande Credit Union, 1211 4th Street NW, on March 13, and Nusenda Credit Union, 7517 Montgomery Boulevard NE, on March 9.

Rhonda Quintana, 35, has been charged federally with aiding and abetting in connection with one of the robberies.

So far this year, the FBI, with the assistance of its law enforcement partners, has arrested six alleged bank robbers in New Mexico.

Information on other bank robbers wanted by the FBI can be found at bankrobbers.fbi.gov.

The public is reminded that all defendants are considered innocent unless convicted in a court of law.
