FBI Looking for Suspected Serial Bank Robber in Albuquerque

The FBI is looking for a man who robbed an Albuquerque bank on Thursday, August 23, 2018, and is suspected of recently robbing three other banks in the city.

First Convenience Bank, inside the Walmart on 2550 Coors Blvd. NW, was robbed at approximately 2:39 p.m.

The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5'5” to 5'6” tall, with short dark hair and tattoos on his left arm.

He wore sunglasses and a black, short-sleeved shirt over a red, short-sleeved T-shirt.

He presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

This individual is suspected of three other bank robberies:

August 20
Bank of the West, 780 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE.

August 17
New Mexico Bank & Trust, 7021 Jefferson St. NE

August 16
First Convenience Bank, 901 Unser Blvd. SE.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
