Jesus Manuel Almanza, 22, of Albuquerque, has been arrested in connection with a northwest Albuquerque bank robbery that occurred Tuesday (4/24/2018).

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI took Almanza into custody at an Albuquerque residence Tuesday.

Almanza is accused of robbing Wells Fargo, located at 7827 4th St. NW.

He is expected to have an initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Wednesday.

The public is reminded all defendants are considered innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.

This is the 10th bank robbery arrest by the Albuquerque FBI Division this year.
