FBI Media Alert: FBI Offers Reward for Ripped Jeans Robber After Albuquerque Bank Robbery

The FBI and Albuquerque Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the Ripped Jeans Robber, who robbed Bank of Albuquerque, 3301 Coors Blvd NW Suite J, in the Ladera Shopping Center, on Friday, February 10, 2023.

At approximately 11:20 a.m., an unknown male walked into the bank and demanded money from a teller. The robber received an undisclosed sum of money and left.

Suspect’s Description:

  • Sex: Male
  • Race: Hispanic
  • Height: 5'5”
  • Clothing: Dark hooded jacket, sunglasses, red bandana, blue jeans with holes, white sneakers.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this suspect.

Bank robbery carries a possible prison term of up to 20 years. The use of a gun, other dangerous weapon, toy gun, or hoax bomb device during the commission of a bank robbery can be punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.
