New Jersey Man Indicted for Bank Robbery

COLUMBIA, SC—United States Attorney Bill Nettles stated today that Craig S. Ozarowski, age 55, of Belmar, New Jersey, was charged in a one-count indictment with bank robbery, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2113(a). The maximum penalty Ozarowski could receive is a fine of $250,000 and/or imprisonment of 20 years.

Mr. Nettles stated that the case was investigated by agents of the FBI and the Mount Pleasant Police Department and that he has assigned the case to Assistant United States Attorney Nick Bianchi of the Charleston office for prosecution.

The United States Attorney stated that all charges in this Indictment are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
