The robbery occurred around 12:00 today, March 3, 2014, and was carried out by a black male estimated to be in his late 20s, approximately 5’2’ to 5’3” tall, and 135 to 145 pounds. During the robbery, he wore a tan winter coat and a black skull cap. The robber approached the teller window and presented a note that implied he had a weapon, but none was displayed. After receiving cash from the bank employee, the robber fled the bank on foot, leaving behind a backpack which was checked by law enforcement officials. The scene has been declared safe by those officials.
