Robbery of Midland State Bank Branch in Joliet

A robbery occurred yesterday shortly before 3 p.m. at the Midland State Bank branch located at 1540 Route 59 in Joliet. The robber approached a teller and demanded cash. After getting an undisclosed amount, he fled on foot. There was no weapon involved in the robbery, and there were no reported injuries.

Witnesses described the robber as being white or Hispanic, 5’6” tall, approximately 190 pounds, with gray, slicked-back hair, and a graying mustache and goatee.
