Robbery of Chase Bank Branch in Chicago

The Chase Bank branch located at 4854 West Irving Park Road in Chicago, was robbed today by two men of an undisclosed amount of cash. An alert witness obtained a description of the getaway vehicle, which was stopped a short distance away by Chicago Police officers on routine patrol.

A total of five people, three of which were in the waiting car, are in custody, but no charges have yet been filed as the robbery is still under investigation.

The two men who actually entered the bank today are also suspected of robbing the Chase Bank branch, located at 1230 North Milwaukee, on two prior occasions. Photos of one of the robbers are available on the Bandit Tracker website, www.bandittrackerchicago.com, as featured robber number two.

No injuries were reported during today’s incident.
