FBI Chicago August 04, 2011
  • Special Agent Garrett Croon (312) 829-1199

A 45-year old Waukegan man was charged yesterday with the August 1, 2011 robbery of the TCF Bank branch located at 922 North Green Bay Road, Waukegan, IL. PETERSON, whose last known address was 3040 West Grandville, was charged in a criminal complaint filed yesterday in U.S. District Court in Chicago with one count of bank robbery.

PETERSON appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Geraldine Soat Brown yesterday afternoon, at which time he was formally charged. PETERSON was ordered held without bond pending his next scheduled court appearance today at 1:30 p.m.

The public is reminded that a complaint is not evidence of guilt and that all defendants in a criminal case are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
