Robbery of Parkway Bank and Trust Branch in Schaumburg

The Parkway Bank and Trust, located at 1600 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg, was robbed yesterday evening of an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as a white male, 20-30 years of age, 5’10” - 6’0” tall, thin build. He was wearing a dark baseball hat, black jacket with hood, a dark blue bandana with white spots covering his face, black gloves, and baggy blue jeans. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, which he held canted inward “gangster style.” He also was carrying a small black shoulder bag.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, which is being investigated by the FBI and Schaumburg Police Department.
