Two Serial Bank Robbers Strike Again

Two serial bank robbers struck again yesterday in separate incidents.
The first involved the “TCF Bandit,” who is a suspect in as many as ten (10) armed robberies dating to February of 2007. Yesterday’s theft took place at the Charter One Bank branch, located at 4411 North Cumberland in Norridge.
The second involved the “Red Line Robber,” who is a suspect in as many as nine (9) armed robberies of Chicago banks, dating to December of last year. Yesterday’s theft took place at the Chicago Community Bank branch, located at 52 East Lake Street in Chicago.
