Individual Who May Have Information Regarding a Suspected Child Sexual Predator Sought by FBI

The Charlotte Division of the FBI is seeking the public’s assistance to identify an unknown individual who may be able to provide valuable information regarding the sexual exploitation of a child. A photograph and informational poster depicting the unknown man are being disseminated to the public and can be found below.
The released images were pulled from a series of photographs that surfaced on the Internet depicting a prepubescent female, approximately 10 years old, posing naked in sexually explicit positions. Also visible in the photographs is an unknown male who can be seen witnessing the child’s behavior from a bed nearby. These photographs have been circulated/traded as child pornography among various illegal Internet forums.
Enhancement of the background of one of the photographs identified what appears to be a child’s drinking cup from the QuikTrip chain of gas stations. This image led investigators to believe that the photographs were likely taken prior to November 2005, in or near one of the following 12 U.S. cities where QuikTrip stores are located:
- Atlanta, Georgia
- Charlotte, North Carolina
- Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas
- Des Moines, Iowa
- Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina
- Kansas City, Missouri
- Omaha, Nebraska
- Phoenix, Arizona
- St. Louis, Missouri
- Tucson, Arizona
- Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Wichita, Kansas
There were also QuikTrip stores located in Springfield, Missouri, until approximately a year ago.
A baseball cap displaying what could be the logo of a local sports team, as well as a partial image of what appears to be a telephone book, are also clues which may provide valuable information regarding the location of this endangered child.
This individual’s identity and current whereabouts are unknown. He appears to be an older, white male between the ages of 55 and 65 with brown eyes, gray hair, and a full beard and mustache. The public is reminded that no charges have been filed in this case and the pictured individual is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

This individual is being sought as part of the FBI’s Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program (ECAP) initiatives, both of which represent strategic partnerships between the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Rescue Me focuses on utilizing clues obtained through in-depth image analysis to identify the child victims depicted in child exploitation material, while ECAP seeks national and international media exposure of unknown adults (referred to as John/Jane Doe) who visibly display their faces and/or other distinguishing characteristics in child pornography images.
