  • Western District of New York (716) 843-5700

ROCHESTER, NY—U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr., announced today that Robert A. Storch, 52, of West Virginia, who was convicted of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute 100 kilograms or more of marijuana, was sentenced to 37 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Brett A. Harvey, who handled the case, stated the defendant obtained significant quantities of marijuana, totaling between 100 and 400 kilograms, from a drug trafficking network in the Rochester area between 2006 and March 2009. Storch then transported the marijuana to a drug trafficker in West Virginia who in turn distributed it to others.

The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation under the direction of Acting Special Agent in Charge Richard Kollmar.
