Reward Offered in Search for Armed Serial Robber

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, Baltimore County Police, and Baltimore City Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who has robbed several convenience stores in recent weeks. The FBI is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Investigators say he’s a black man, about 6’0" tall, weighs about 220 pounds, and is in his mid-30s. Witnesses describe him as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, with khaki pants and a black cap in several of the robberies. Investigators believe he is responsible for robberies at the Royal Farms at 3701 Fleet Street in Baltimore, Maryland on November 11, 2014; the 7-11 at 5920 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore, Maryland on December 2, 2014; and the Highs at 8710 Liberty Road in Randallstown, Maryland on November 11, 2014. Investigators say he may be responsible for several other robberies in the Baltimore region.

Witnesses in some robberies say the suspect comes into the store, acts like he is going to buy merchandise but then quickly flashes a gun at the clerk as they are ringing him up. He puts the gun away and then walks out the stores with a bag of cash.

If you have any information about the robber or the robberies, you are asked to call the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080. You could receive a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case.

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is made up of FBI agents, Baltimore City Police detectives, Baltimore County Police detectives, and Anne Arundel County Police Detectives. They investigate significant violent crimes, including kidnappings, robberies of commercial institutions, armored car and bank robberies, extortions, and fugitive felons.
