FBI Increases Reward Money for Information on Shooter in Armed Robbery

The FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force is now offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest after an armed man shot a store clerk during a robbery. The FBI and Baltimore Police are investigating the robbery and shooting at the Hanover Mart at 3806 South Hanover Street in Baltimore on October 2.

Investigators say the robber went into the store, bought a cup of coffee, and then acted as if he was going to leave. He returned to the counter and demanded money from the clerk, while pulling out a handgun. During the robbery, the robber shot the clerk in the arm. The clerk has non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.

The robber is described as a black man, 20 to 30 years old, and was seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark pants, and a purple hat. He left the store on foot.

If you know anything about the robber or robbery, you are asked to call the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080 or the Baltimore Police Department at 1-866-7LOCKUP. You could receive a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
