Updated October 2, 2014: Baltimore Police Department SWAT and members of the Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force arrested the subject, Kieran Williams (dob: April 6, 1972), last night at 1407 N. Potomac St in East Baltimore without incident. The Violent Crimes Task Force paid a reward to a tipster who saw coverage on the news.

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man believed to have robbed more than a dozen stores in the Baltimore metro area since August 4. Investigators say in many of the incidents the robber approaches the register and buys an item and then pulls a gun from his waistband and demands money from the clerks.

Witnesses describe him as a black man in his late 30s or early 40s, about 6’2” tall, medium to stocky build, with a dark complexion and graying hair and goatee. The list of the businesses is below:

• September 10—Radio Shack—2400 Boston Street, Baltimore, Maryland
• September 11—Radio Shack—7617 Harford Road, Baltimore, Maryland

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is made up of FBI Agents, Baltimore City Police Detectives, Baltimore County Police Detectives, and Anne Arundel County Police Detectives. They investigate significant violent crimes, including kidnappings, robberies of commercial institutions, armored car and bank robberies, extortions, and fugitive felons.
