FBI Seeks Man and Woman in Takeover-Style Bank Robbery

The FBI Baltimore Violent Crimes Task Force is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man and woman involved in a takeover-style bank robbery at the Wells Fargo at 1730 York Road in Lutherville, Maryland, on August 28.

Witnesses say the woman came into the bank with a handgun, approached the counter, and announced the robbery. The man came in after the woman, also carrying a handgun, but stayed near the exit the entire time. The robbers demanded employees and customers get on the floor. After getting the money, they set off pepper spray as they left.

If you have any information about the robbers or the robbery, you are asked to call the Baltimore FBI at 410-265-8080. You could receive a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of both suspects.

The Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is made up of FBI agents, Baltimore City Police detectives, Baltimore County Police detectives, and Anne Arundel County Police detectives. They investigate significant violent crimes, including kidnappings, robberies of commercial institutions, armored car and bank robberies, extortions, and fugitive felons.
