FBI Seeking Armed Bank Robbery Suspect

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) J. Britt Johnson, in conjunction with Chief Michael J. Persley, Albany Police Department, requests the public’s assistance regarding today’s armed bank robbery which occurred at the DOCO Credit Union at 2101 Rosebrier Avenue in Albany, Georgia.

On Monday, October 26, 2015, at approximately 9:13 a.m., a lone male wearing a hoodie and a Halloween-type face mask entered the DOCO Credit Union located at 2101 Rosebrier Avenue in Albany, Georgia, and, while brandishing a semi-automatic handgun, demanded money from a bank teller.

After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled on foot without further incident.

The robber is described as being a male, unknown race, approximately 5’7” in height, and wearing a dark hoodie-type shirt, blue jeans, a blue canvas-type bag, and a Halloween type mask, and brandishing a black, semi-automatic handgun.
